Clay Rider is een klei glijmiddel dat zorgt voor het nodige glijvermogen zodat een clay bar zachtjes vervuiling van elk gelakt oppervlak kan verwijderen, terwijl het risico op beschadiging (marring) tijdens gebruik aanzienlijk wordt verminderd. Geadviseerd wordt om de Contamination Removal Bars van ValetPro zelf te gebruiken, maar het product kan in combinatie met eender welke klei worden gebruikt.
